What is a book? A book to me is more than just an idea, it is the manefestation of hard work and a passionate scheme. A book is a statement of expression, a book represents free thought and even more broadly it is a great example of the freedom we have to express our selves.
Is a physical book superior to an electronic one? I absolutely think so, but due to cost effectiveness and the general rise in technology's popularity, E-books will likely win out.
A physical book is just that, it's a physical thing, part of what distinguishes books is their feel, the different weights and page lengths, the texture and color of the pages, these are things you don't get with an E-book. Personally I think that books are much easier on the eyes as well than E-books but as the horse and buggy was doomed to the competition of the car, the physical book is doomed.

Post #1: Why Do I Read?
Why do I read? Mostly I read to learn, in fact I almost always learn when I read something.
With today's technology regarding the internet, knowledge has never been more accessible. More often than not when I have a curious itch about something I am able to learn all about it within a few clicks of my mouse. So while sometimes I read for entertainment, or perhaps even enlightenment, most often I read to learn.
